⚙️There are extensions to fight invasive ads, tracking and other uncontrollable evils of the Web 2.0 era. Most of these tools are defensive, but today let’s look at offensive web weapons.
AdNauseam (Latin for “to the point of nausea”) is an ad blocker with an auto-click function. A fork of uBlock Origin, supplementing the latter’s blocking with clicks to make the advertiser splurge. Removed by google from the extension store.

📌 Details
~ open source JavaScript
~ clicks are sent via background requests without opening pages, cookies from clicks are blocked
~ may conflict with ad blockers
~ can be installed on chrome-like browsers (https://github.com/dhowe/AdNauseam/wiki/Install-AdNauseam-on-Chromium-based-browsers) via unzipped extension archive.
~ stylish improvement of uBlock design
~ quick access to uBlock panel
~ by default whitelist sites (https://www.eff.org/files/effdntlist.txt) that comply with EFF’s “Do Not Track” standard.
~ each “clicked” ad block is nicely displayed in the tag cloud (but why?)
~ most settings are the same as uBlock, supports lists of filters and rules from uBlock
